History
1980: Established in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the industrial heartland of the USA, Allegheny Trading Company, Inc. has grown to import and export in more than 30 countries. Founder and President, Thornton C. Schoch Jr.
From the beginning and still to this day, Allegheny Trading Company, Inc. has been all about service to customers in the Electro-Mechanical industry.
2019: Gregory B. Herrmann joined the company as Vice-President, Sales & Logistics.
Gregory brings a wealth of knowledge in the International market place after 20 years with Expeditors International of Washington, Inc., a Global Logistics Service Provider.
He has responsibility for coordinating and tracking our inbound and outbound freight. We customize an air, ocean or truck solution to meet the customers needs; keeping them apprised on a daily basis.

We provide a “ONE STOP SHOP” for our customers. We source from many vendors and consolidate shipments saving our customers time and money.
